LASAGNE aims at maintaining an active communication with other related FP7 projects (especially those of the FET Proactive Initiative that play into the same objectives of LASAGNE) in order to share results, gather feedback and to form a unified approach, so as to maximize the joint impact of the projects. These joint dissemination activities include:
- With PLEXMATH: A joint satellite meeting, Physics of Multilayered Interconnected Networks II, was organized at the International School and Conference on Network Science (NetSci’15) that took place on September 22-26, 2015 in Zaragoza (SP).
- With PLEXMATH and MULTIPLEX: A joint satellite meeting, Multiplex Networks 2014: Towards the understanding of a complex world, was organized at the European Conference of Complex Systems (ECCS’14) that took place on September 22-26, 2014 in Lucca (IT).
- With PLEXMATH: A thematic school, the Mediterranean School of Complex Networks, was organized in June 9-13, 2014 in Sicily (IT).
- With PLEXMATH: A joint satellite meeting, Physics of Multilayered Interconnected Networks, was organized at the International School and Conference on Network Science (NetSci’14) that took place on June 2-6, 2014 in California (US).
- With PLEXMATH: Collaboration with this project has resulted in six published studies, where we have studied the spectral properties, as well as a theoretical model of multiplex networks. In those papers, we have also studied the reducibility of multilayer interconnected networks, and the influence of sociodemographic characteristics on human mobility.
- With EUNOIA: We profit from the data collection and data analysis experience gathered in EUNOIA. Specifically, geo-localized data from mobile-phone and twitter will be useful to construct and describe location and mobility networks. Collaboration with this project has resulted in different published studies
- With the EU projects MULTIPLEX and PLEXMATH: A joint satellite meeting was organized at the European Conference on Complex Systems (ECCS’13) in Barcelona (SP). The title of the meeting was “Multiplex Networks 2013: Towards the understanding of a complex world”
